Iran is growing more aggressive in its attacks on US warships, including an aircraft carrier — firing three strikes in the past week in a clear act of escalation not seen since the start of the war.
While Iran has mainly focused its strikes on US and ally bases in the Middle East for most of the war, Tehran has now appeared to set its sights on the Navy vessels maintaining the blockade that is choking its economy.
The new attacks have led to much closer calls than before as US officials grow concern that Iran’s targeting ability has vastly improved since the start of the conflict, The Wall Street Journal reported.
Iran’s latest attack saw the regime target 10 US ships near the Strait of Hormuz on Wednesday, with Tehran firing medium-range ballistic missiles at the vessels.
The missiles were reportedly armed with advanced technology and capable of maneuvering mid-flight to reach their target, similar to the electro-optical seekers Iran began testing last year, according to multiple reports.
The quick advances and improved targeting ability have also raised concerns that Iran has gotten help from Russia or China on developing the weapon, sources told the WSJ.

Yes, they have gotten help from China. No surprise there. We should expect a major attack from Iran and its proxies over the next 4-6 weeks during the run up to the election. They will do everything they can to attempt to hurt Trump and elect their allies, the Democrats.
The IRGC’s strategy is plain - they don’t care what economic hardships we impose on the Iranian people, they will continue menacing Hormuz Strait traffic to keep oil prices high, and they will wait out Trump’s presidency. In 2029, either JD Vance takes office or a Democrat will take office - either of them will be eager to settle the Iran matter and either will cave to Iranian demands.
The Chinese Communist Party is watching this War and taking notes . They think they’ve figured out the US and can beat it ,LOL

Chinese engineers are on a roll. Don’t forget they also designed a drone that actually collided with an Apache helicopter on a night flight mission and downed it. Face reality. Iran has obtained the weaponery that allows it to effectively close the Strait of Hormuz, send energy prices up and disrupt the world economy. Trump must come to realize that unless the mullah regime is deposed, he and America loses.

Shock & Awe Time?
These halfway (some call it half-@ss), strategic-strikes warfare tactics don’t seem to be getting the job done.... especially with the ‘other’ enemy nations helping Iran with a seemingly endless re-supply of weaponry. We destroy it, they get new stuff shipped in (why are we allowing that resupply into Iran again?).
Something has to change....or the idiot left will be calling it “Trump’s Quagmire” ahead of the midterms. Get the job done, crush the ‘black knight leadership’ still calling the shots against America. No more surgical strikes... make ‘the’ cut.
On this anniversary of 9/11... and knowing that the Iran mullahs want to nuke attack America... we need to do what is necessary to prevent another 9/11. And right now, Iran is still the biggest funder of terrorism and ergo, the biggest threat.... with the biggest incentive and motive. And who knows how many willing combatants are right here in America, having waltzed across our border during the OBiden regime... just waiting for the right moment or the order to attack.

Now the only way to end this is to destroy all their oil drilling, storage, refining, and shipping capabilities. And possibly take out Tehran in a way that would prevent it from functioning long-term. Then take out PixAxe, which will require nuclear weapons in sequence.
Only option left other than the US walking away and surrendering, and Iran using a nuke against a major US base or even city within the next five years.

..... and why didn’t we finish the job last spring when they were on the ropes, had not received new tech from China, and we would have more time before complicating the mid-terms?
Electronic countermeasures built into the defense systems of US vessels have, up to now, been highly effective in repulsing these kinetic attacks from Iran using Chinese technology. Sooner or later, though, some assault by drones or guided missile will elude and break through these electronic countermeasures, and serious damage shall be inflicted.
Then it is time for the velvet gloves to come off the iron fist concealed within, and make the objective obliteration of any remaining IRGC personnel and their theocratic superiors in the array of ayatollahs and mullahs that constitute the hierarchy of the Islamic Republic of Iran the prime directive in continued confrontation. If this also means the continued pounding of Pickaxe Mountain, and the destruction of any remaining bridges that maintain internal transport routes for either heavy trucking or railroads, Iran should be reduced to a level about that of Afghanistan.

They’re obviously getting re-supplied by Russia or China. They know if they wipe out one ship, sink it, we lose 1000 men, it’s over for Trump. I don’t understand why we are pussy footing this. How are they getting the hardware still?
Exactly. Take out the refineries. To hell with the price of gas short term. They pull a Pearl Harbor on us and it’s over.
The ultimate tactic would be to destroy Iran’s refinery’s, sending the country back to the stone age for a long time. We’ve been hesitant to do that because we ultimately want the Iranian population to recover and support our side. But I think we will finally pull the trigger.
