Twenty-five years after Sept.11, 2001, families and friends of the nearly 3,000 people killed that day remain dismayed that still no one has been convicted — or even stood trial — for the terror attacks.

Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the self-proclaimed architect of the deadliest acts of terror on American soil, and four of his alleged al-Qaida cronies remain behind bars at the US naval base in Guantánamo Bay, Cuba.

“So many family members have passed in the past 25 years. How sad that these people didn’t live long enough to see justice served,” Maggie McDonnell-Tiberio, whose emergency service NYPD officer husband Brian McDonnell died in the attacks, told The Post. “Twenty-five years is too long to wait.”

What is wrong with this result.

The lefts want a trial to shoe case Islam.

What would happen in trial?
There had to be a lot of classified disclosures.
Khalid and Co will make it a big show and claim all kind of things.
And then they will be sentenced for like 5 years?!

I would say, it there were a trial, those clowns would be long free by now.

Let them rot at Guantanamo, until they go to hell!

Compare this to the Oklahoma city bombing.
Within hours, the bomber had been identified.
Within days, he was tried, convicted and executed.

With 9/11, nothing.

Justice delayed is justice denied.

Our judicial system desperately needs reformed. To say waiting 25 years for justice is unacceptable is an understatement.

My opinion about the justice system in general:

...Appeals ad infinitum is unacceptable. E.g., Gary Alvord (Florida) spent almost 40 years on death row, from 1974 until his death in 2013.
...We need a law that promptly removes lower court justices who repeatedly make decisions based on their politics and not the law.

I lay the blame for our broken justice system on Congress, SCOTUS and the legal profession (lawyers). All 3 groups have the power to correct our flawed justice system but fail to do so. Lawyers in particular have a vested interest in dragging out cases with appeals etc. It's in their self interest to do so. Congress and SCOTUS, which is made up of many lawyers, appears to like things just the way they are. And you wonder why people are cynical about their government.

As a reward for murdering about 3000 people the bearded savages were given certified victim status, foot washing stations and ownership of Minneapolis and Dearborn.

Kill people, get treated royally.
