SEATTLE - Seattle small business owners say they are exhausted and running on empty as they struggle to stay afloat in an increasingly expensive city.
While local entrepreneurs grapple with thin profit margins and mounting tax pressures, city leaders are attempting to offer a path forward.

Business owners seek relief

What's next: For neighborhood shop owners, daily operations require making tough calls just to survive.

"I can't even keep track of all the taxes, but it's crippling," Thompson said.

Thank you very much and God bless you.

In response to growing economic pressure, Mayor Katie Wilson signed a new executive order aimed at creating a dedicated task force by October.

More grifting by politicos and comrades, willingly allowed by oblivious seattle citizens.

Sheesh, Comrades! Just do this!
1) pass a law making it illegal for the rich to leave Seattle
2) pass a law confiscating the wealth of the rich
3) open city-owned stores
4) enact price controls for the remaining private sector stores. The party knows what prices should be!

Twenty families could live here!

Problem solved.

Old saying:
Don’t kill the goose that lays the golden eggs.

Updated socialist version:
Kill that nasty goose dead. But torture it first.

Wilson is an incredibly simple minded person. Seattle has its very own village idiot. They voted for her.

This is exactly what I’ve suggested. They simply won’t listen to me. Something about the Constitution and Freedom from God-given rights. Until they get voted into office.

They say we must vote our way in. Some of us realize that we’ll need to shoot our way out.

Outstanding movie reference, BTW.

I wonder how many indigent families could live in mansions in Malibu or Martha’s Vineyard? Nantucket? The Outer banks in Carolina? Miami? New York City?

All those coastal places where the elites live in spite of the threat of global warming flooding and storms?

Those who support communism have no idea what they’re asking for. They’re going to eat corn on the cob the long way.

In response to growing economic pressure, Mayor Katie Wilson signed a new executive order aimed at creating a dedicated task force by October.

And once the Task Force is created, they will break up into Sub-Task Force groups to "rap" about the issues. Each group will be responsible for brainstorming solutions. Any group not brainstorming seriously will be sent to their rooms.

While the heads of the Task Force are waiting for the Sub-Task Force groups to report, Task Force Nonprofits and NGOs will be formed to plan what to *&#k to do if and when anyone reports back to them.

Wow. A collection of well college trained commies who never had a job their entire lives getting tax dollars to sit on a “task force” dedicated to running businesses hiring.

The problem is solved.
