Fox News favorite Maria Bartiromo has dramatically exited the network after almost 13 years.
Bartiromo's final show aired on Fox Business on Thursday morning.
The channel's parent company, Fox News Media, made the news known in a press release sent out that morning as well, about an hour later.

Did anyone say why?
This is bad news I wonder what happened
No. Just some left wing speculation, but no reason cited.
Most likely a disagreement with management and with her talent she has options. Dominion Settlement: Her broadcasts were central to Dominion Voting Systems' defamation case against Fox News, which ended in a 787 million dollar settlement.
I watched her show every morning. Not happy about this.
Only a matter of time. The media is committing suicide.
Always DVR'd it and would watch as soon as I got home from church.
Bummer, her voice and cadence were music.
Hubby and I also watch Maria on Sunday mornings.
No specific public reason has been given. On September 3, 2026, Fox News Media announced that Maria Bartiromo is no longer with the company, effective immediately, after about 12½ years. The official statement simply thanked her for her work and wished her well on her “next chapter,” without explaining the departure.

Her last episode of Mornings with Maria (Fox Business, 6–9 a.m. ET) aired that morning. The show is transitioning to Mornings with FOX Business with rotating anchors. Maria Bartiromo’s Wall Street is becoming FBN’s Wall Street (initially hosted by Cheryl Casone, then rotating anchors). Sunday Morning Futures on Fox News Channel will be hosted temporarily by Jason Chaffetz, with a permanent host to be announced later. Fox also plans a new weekday programming schedule for Fox Business.

Reports describe the exit as sudden and unexpected (similar in style to prior high-profile Fox departures). Some coverage noted she had not appeared on the networks since early August, but no official explanation—such as contract issues, ratings, internal decisions, or other factors—has been provided by Fox or Bartiromo in the available statements.

Trump Administration position. That’s more like it.
I check the ratings and they remained strong. She was still whooping on CNBC.
So…it’s not likely ratings.
I doubt if she would want to do the hours and grief that comes with the White House job.
I guess we have to wait for the leaks to start.
Oh, I hope.
But then again, having to deal with the dipstick press prima donnas every day?
I don’t think she would take this job.
I hope not. I like her but don't think she would be the right choice.
Scott Jennings or Stephen Miller would be kick-ass.
