Plane carrying DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin makes emergency landing after engine failure

A Coast Guard plane carrying Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Markwayne Mullin made an emergency landing in Virginia on Wednesday.
The maneuver happened after an engine reportedly failed. Mullin confirmed the landing in a statement on social media.
"The United States Coast Guard pilots made the single engine landing feel routine," Mullin wrote. "No panic, just straight professionalism. After we landed, the pilots told me that was a first for them! We could not have been in better hands."
The plane reportedly landed at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. According to the post that Mullin responded to on social media confirming the ordeal, 14 people were on board and are unharmed. Other top DHS officials were also on the plane.

The new AI run Chinese supplied inspection system showed the engine was in tip top shape.
Bearded Muslim mechanics backed that up and rushed to an unmarked van that pulled up to them and burned rubber getting away from the airport.
Nothing to see here.

The airplane in question is likely a C-37B long range command and control aircraft (LRCCA) from Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation. Excellent track record.
Kudos to the crew's professionalism.

The plane reportedly landed at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. Seems like a strange choice for an emergency landing - probably because there is a Coast Guard unit there, but the longest runway is only 7169'. Dulles has a couple of 11,500 foot runways (and shortest is 9700 feet); Andrews has runways of 11,300 and 9750' (some numbers rounded.)
