Actually, it’s to draw American strikes. Iran is terrified Republicans will fare well if everything remains calm through November, so are trying to get Trump to escalate believing that will favor Democrats.

Actually, that is for their own people. The US is aware of the ‘show’ they are putting on. They are trying to whip up a response for the locals, but it ain’t workin’. As you say, they can move troops, but for what purpose? I have heard this show from the IRGC from multiple sources, so it is not Tousi pumping up. He has said this ‘toungue in cheek’ and laughing when he said it.

I won’t waste my time, honestly. I have done that - especially with Tousi - on MUTLIPLE occasions, only to have my summary completely ignored in favor and comments on Tousi that directly contradict both what Tousi said and I summarized.

I am always amazed at the use of the word “escalate” pertaining to Trump’s actions.
Let’s see, the top layer of Iranian leaders were all killed, the Navy was put on the bottom of the sea, a tight blockade has been enforced, etc.
What can Trump do to top that for escalation? Just striking military targets is not escalation of the conflict; he has been doing that all along.
But this guy Tousi just gets more and more hyped up over the smallest things it becomes impossible to believe.
Troops can be as few as 2...
