Florida Republican Rep. María Elvira Salazar did a quick about-face on President Trump’s massive Venezuela oil deal Saturday — deleting a social media post blasting the pact before returning to declare it was “a great deal” for America and the Venezuelan people Salazar, who has been outspoken of communist Venezuelan President Delcy Rodríguez, took to X to declare that the pact would come to an end once President Trump’s term ends.
“Any oil “deal” with Venezuela’s interim regime has an expiration date: the day President Trump leaves the White House,” Salazar wrote on the site. She later deleted the English and Spanish posts and returned about an hour later with a very different message.
“The U.S.-Venezuela oil deal is a great deal for the United States and the Venezuelan people,” she wrote.

I guess she did some polling and got a look at the comments on the original post.
IOW, she licked her finger, stuck it up in the air, and detected the wind direction.
Doesn’t matter. She’s hot.
She’s also all-in on amnesty for the illegals already here. Screw her.

Please be aware this woman lost to Donna Shalala in 2018 when she was younger and hotter. What it means is how the country goes will have an effect on too many seats. Keep her until someone hotter comes along.

Her last post ‘correcting’ her earlier post, doesn’t really invalidate the earlier post.
Isn’t it possible that when Trump leaves office and a democrat wins election (God forbid), the pact would be undone for a different contract which undoes everything, or most things, that Trump did regarding Venezuela?
Some ‘logic’ follows:
Fetterman helps democrats in the senate, and if democrats win the senate this year, he counts as a number for democrat CONTROL of the senate, which means they get to set the agenda for at least the next 2 years.
Salazar is a number for the republicans in the house, and democrats are not far behind the republican numbers which means republicans get to set the agenda in the house. Take Salazar away and democrats get closer to controlling the agenda in the house.
Like her or not, she’s a valuable asset for republicans, especially in the Cuban community.
