On Monday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “Jesse Watters Primetime,” Democratic U.S. Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed responded to questions on whether he wants to replace the 2nd Amendment by saying that people are more worried about healthcare before saying he’s “perfectly okay with people having their hunting rifles.”
Host Jesse Watters asked, “You also said this: You want to replace the right to bear arms with the right to healthcare. You don’t want to replace the 2nd Amendment, do you?”
El-Sayed responded, “Well, look, man, I think more people are more worried about whether or not they can see a doctor than whether or not they can have a gun. I’m just going to put that out there.”
Watters then cut in to press, “You’re dodging the question, do you want to replace the 2nd Amendment?”

The 2nd Amendment doesn’t have anything to do with hunting.

I’m thinking “hunting rifle” already excludes the most popular and versatile rifles and means a pretty narrow selection of rifles, and that it is a definition that would continue to narrow as time passed, no detachable magazines, then no magazine at all just a single shot bolt action, maybe then just hunting shotguns, and then only double barrel long shotguns, and so on.
Step one, eliminate the entire world of the popular and most versatile hunting and sporting rifles so common today.
