Even before Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent sets out new US moves to pressure Iran’s economy, things are looking increasing grim for Tehran; President Donald Trump is clearly winning and mainly needs to hold firm as the enemy tries to wriggle out.
Crucially, oil is now flowing through the Strait of Hormuz, meaning Tehran’s gambit of closing it has failed.
And the neighbors that Iran has been attacking have had enough: Its largest trading partner, the United Arab Emirates, last week cut off all transactions including financial ones.

If you listen to any but one Demo not only is Iran winning but this is an illegal war and the money is being wasted since it is not being handed out to illegals.
Staying the course.
This pivot to mainly economic warfare is brilliant, and looks to be working very well.
It cuts off all the War Powers Act objections at the knees. No one will object to retaliatory strikes if Iran attacks the US or our allies.
I continue to think we should be supplying potential Iranian rebels with arms and ammo, but otherwise things are looking good!

The editorial board at the NY Post is totally delusional. We most certainly are NOT winning.
The military option failed. The US military isn’t prepared to fight a modern drone war against a nation state. So the only options at this point are surrender or Plan C: economic “war”.
Military options failed because America doesn’t have the stones to fight a real war. We only want police actions that never work and end up in a loss or cease fire, but the original issue remains alive and well.
