The McKinney City Council unanimously voted to allow a proposed mosque expansion.
The marathon meeting was packed, with people on both sides of the issue showing up to speak.
The McKinney Islamic Association plans to now build a campus on Virginia Parkway that would include three buildings: a main sanctuary, a classroom, and a gym. The gym could have multiple uses.
People who were opposed said they were concerned about traffic, parking, safety, and property value. Some residents flatly stated they are opposed because it is a Muslim establishment.

When will we declare Islam followers as mentally ill? The only religious text that has scripture that tries to give its followers points against other faiths . That aint peace , I say eat some bacon and love À dog , probably cure that illness between the eyes that advances the idea of jihad in thier hearts .

Let’s be fair here. The McKinney city council had no legal way to deny the permit, that is why it was a unanimous vote. Unlike the Marxists, like it or not, they did follow the law with their decision.
Unfortunately, for most common sensed Americans, our religious rights have been used against us for decades, going back to when we allowed anything to qualify as a “religion,” including things like Satanism. That now is being used to cloak Sharia law under the umbrella of the “peaceful religion” of Islam, practiced by the Muslims.
Since the Muslims can claim that their first amendment right to practice Islam, there is nothing to stop them from spreading and putting up mosques anywhere they are legally zoned . . .

Islam is a clear and present danger to the Republic. That is your justification for the denial. If we let them use our laws against us we are doomed.
We see the same pattern with Islam. If you permit Our Lady of Lourdes, First Baptist, or Congregation Beth Israel to open a worship facility, why not allow the Islamic Center to do likewise? The answer is that Muslims want to take over the world; Catholics, Baptists, and Jews do not. However, that would be difficult to prove in a court of law.
