'Love & Hip-Hop: New York' star Sidney Starr has been arrested and charged with numerous felony offenses 'related to an alleged sexual assault involving a juvenile.'
Starr, 37 - real name Sidney Favors - has been charged with sexual battery against a child under 16, aggravated child molestation, and sodomy, according to jail records.
She was arrested on August 2 after police conducted an investigation into an 'incident' at the Embassy Suites in Hapeville, Georgia and remains in custody.
In a statement obtained by The Daily Mail, the Hapeville Police Department refrained from sharing further details about the case due to the involvement of a juvenile.
'On August 2,2026, Officers with the Hapeville Police Department responded to an incident at 3450 International Blvd (Embassy Suites) in Hapeville Georgia,' the release said.
'As a result of the investigation, Sidney Favors (Sidney Starr), a reality television celebrity, was arrested and charged with multiple felony offenses related to an alleged sexual assault involving a juvenile. Favors was transported to the Fulton County Jail following the arrest.

Reality TV programs never vett contestants properly and I am sure that the vetting of a transgender contestant is probably non-existent. Get any loud, brash, controversial, bizarre-looking transgender contestant on one of these shows and try your hardest to make them a star. And then something like this pops up. The networks treated a transgender contestant with kid gloves and turned a pedophile into a star. Just sickening.
