Ukrainian and US Presidents Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Donald Trump discussed the production of Patriot air defense systems during their meeting and also revived the negotiation track, according to an informed source.
"The meeting was very positive, no less than 8 out of 10. The highest priority was securing licenses for Patriot production; other areas are also being worked on. We managed to revive the negotiation track," the source said.

One thing that I haven't seen mentioned: Among those present at the meeting were Rubio and Hegseth. Someone not present at the meeting: Vance.

They do everything we didn’t want and didn’t vote for. They hand out money and weapons to every freaking foreign parasite but nothing the American people want. Promises broken.
America First has become a joke.

In response to those who are allergic to any criticism of Donald Trump and who are eager to shoot the messenger when provoked, let me add my voice to a chorus of praise for President Trump on reversing course and pursuing wise policies of mutual support in a new, revitalized relationship with Ukraine.
Putin is on the ropes, so this is the hour to increase pressure on this tyrant and bring an honorable peace with liberty to as much of Ukraine as can be restored.

During his first term Trump was sending them weapons and GIs to train them to kill Russians, at least by his second term you knew not to vote for him if you were against it.

The previous meeting between Zelenskyy and Trump took place on July 8 on the sidelines of the NATO summit. At the time, the US president said that Washington could allow Ukraine to establish its own production of Patriot system interceptors.I recall one of the talking points on this war was that it supported American jobs. I suppose the MIC will still get licensing fees, who pays for those?
To: Gunslingr3
Yes licensed, probably paid for by the nations opposing the invasion, or at least until Ukraine can make enough to sell.
