Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s administration has published a searchable database of Big Apple properties that could fall under the state’s new pied-à-terre tax, effectively doxxing thousands of wealthy New Yorkers.
The city’s Department of Finance uploaded the comprehensive list – which purports to cover all unoccupied, non-primary residences in the five boroughs worth north of $1 million – including the full names and addresses of every property owner.

NY City produces nothing. It is a welfare city, supported by skimmings from Wall Street, state aid, and Federal handouts - all based on printed, fiat money and massive debt
And with all that printed money, it grows bloated government and marxists.
Several blue/urban areas in the USA are similar, but NY City is the main cancer.
Isn’t that an invasion of privacy. What happens somebody targets one of those that he published? Is NYC going to be financially responsible if someone gets treated poorly or is injured by publication of the list? Isn’t that list based upon tax information, and shouldn’t that be private?
