As 15th Person is Pushed Onto Subway Tracks, Mamdani Rants About Israel
Front Page Magazine ^ | 22/7/26 | Daniel Greenfield

New York City, where the media insists crime is down, experienced another grim milestone with the 15th person pushed into the subway tracks so far this year.

Saritha Komatireddy, who is running for New York State Attorney General on a public safety platform, tweeted that, “This is the fifteenth subway push this year. A 70-year-old woman was just shoved onto the subway tracks by a stranger who walked up behind her at a station in Midtown Manhattan.”

The perpetrator was a ‘parolee’, the type of criminals whom pro-crime officials like Gov. Hochul and Attorney General Letitia James have fought for and the kind whom Mamdani celebrated the World Cup with at Riker’s Island, and is of course a repeat offender.

The ex-con has racked up 14 prior arrests, including for robbing an MTA worker in 2025 and for criminal sale of a controlled substance.

His last known address is a homeless shelter in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, cops said.

Most recently, Smith was arrested for burglary on June 16 after stealing cleaning solutions from a residential building in Chelsea, which he snuck into through a service entrance, cops said.

The story is typical enough. And while New York City racked up its 15th subway push, the Pakistani Muslim squatting in Gracie Mansion was busy making videos ranting about Israel and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

While New York City goes to hell, Mamdani remains obsessed with his Jihad...

When I was in the NY subway system, I was astonished that people would stand right next to the tracks which are a five-foot dropoff down. They’d be looking at their phones oblivious to their surroundings. Right next to them would be someone talking to God...or Satan. I stood well back. There was always time to get into the car from the farthest back you could stand.

After so many people getting pushed onto the tracks, I’d assume that people would stand way back and watch their surroundings. Apparently not.

“He’s a foreign born hatemonger man boy and NYC deserves him.”

Sadly, it seems they still love him. He’s got the “vibe”.

Don’t stand so close to the tracks. Actually, stand hundreds of miles away from the tracks. GTFO of NY

I knew back in the 1970s that you shouldn’t stand near the edge of the platform when these people were around. Here is Zaki Smith, one of the people that I am referring to.

Another MAGA villain fails its attempt to reduce the over 70 population giving Mamdani another win.

A “subway push.”

Not long ago, that would have meant MTA sent out a maintenance train to push the broken down subway train to the yard.

Now, thanks to Democrats we have new lexicon, just like “gay” and “queer.”

The perpetrator was a ‘parolee’

I thought we were calling them "teens".

I was in NY City recently - and was surprised by all the people just lurking around near the subway stops - not entering trains, hanging out near posts, hoodies pulled down, leaning against walls - not far from the tracks. It would have been very easy for one of them to quickly run forward and push someone onto the tracks. I saw this in every station.

I made everyone in our group stand way back before the train came in.

Back in the 1970s, much was said about the increase of crime in the subways.
It was almost all theft in various forms.
Also various misdemeanors such as littering or smoking.

Pushing someone onto the tracks was almost unheard of.

Something has changed in the culture.
And it's not just a question of how much law enforcement.

Might be some dark web site that features snuff videos and pays cash for them, and that’s what it’s really all about.

Could have said “rails against Israel,” but they can’t all be the NY Post.
