RUSKIN, Fla. - A man who held his ex-girlfriend hostage overnight shot and wounded two Hillsborough County deputies during a Thursday afternoon ambush in Ruskin before a third deputy killed him, according to Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister.
Ruskin shooting ambushes deputies What we know: The sheriff said a woman went to a Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office substation on Thursday morning to request an order of protection against her ex-boyfriend, Chris Dmuchowski. She told investigators that Dmuchowski came to her home on Wednesday, bound her hands with zip ties, shoved a sock in her mouth, taped it shut and held her at gunpoint while threatening to kill her. She escaped on Thursday morning after convincing him she had an appointment, according to Sheriff Chad Chronister.
Detectives tracked Dmuchowski to Shell Point Road in Ruskin using drone surveillance, believing he remained armed. When deputies pulled up to his location in a parking lot, the sheriff said Dmuchowski opened a vehicle side door and opened fire. One deputy fell after being struck in the face, and a second deputy was shot in the neck inside his patrol car before a third deputy took a tactical position and killed Dmuchowski, according to Chronister.

Yesterday a story said Mamdani is setting up a form of social worker group to be sent in place of armed law enforcement for such incidents. Supposedly will de-escalate them.
“I proposed creating a Department of Community Safety to build a mental health system rooted in prevention and sustained care in real crisis response, so officers no longer have to handle these situations alone,” Mayor Zohran Mamdani said.
It may be unfortunately necessary for some of the innocent
alternative responders to be injured or killed by the violent criminals in order to get this dangerous and naive theory set back for good. The nonviolent social workers and psychiatric intervention people endanger innocent people. They of course don’t mean to do it.
One shouldn’t laugh at mortal tragedy, but I definitely didn’t see that picture coming.

It’s hard for me to believe that this guy was so skilled that he was able to deliver a head-shot to one deputy and shoot the other in the neck unless they, carelessly, pulled-up alongside his vehicle.
I’m not saying with surety that their approach to this guy was half-assed but it sure looks like it!

Guys, women are just not worth doing this. No one is. They need to see it for what it is, its really a win if they go.
Guys like this make a woman the center of their lives, they cant let them go. Thats not what you are supposed to do. You need to have a life with your own goals and purposes, if they want to come along fine, if not, fine as well.

They might, physically, get in the way.
The cops might have to intervene to protect them.
You’d have to be mentally disordered to embrace a concept like that!
The fact that these people would have to be accompanied by cop to such a call belies the sanity of it all!
If you have to dial 9-1-1 for an uncontrollably, violent household member, don’t!
Because, the outcome might not be what you’re looking for!
Look up Andrew Ellmaker. He was a troubled 17 year old who had a social worker visit him regularly. He ended up murdering her with a chain saw while his adoptive gay mother looked on.
