A New Jersey man says he was forced to change an anti-war T-shirt before boarding a United Airlines flight after a flight attendant deemed the message offensive.
Sam Saadeh, of Linden, New Jersey, said he was boarding a June 4 flight from Atlanta to Newark Liberty International Airport while wearing a shirt reading, "Bombing kids is not self defense," when a United supervisor approached him shortly after he took his seat, according to CBS New York.
Saadeh told the outlet he was "very confused" when he was pulled aside.

All he has to do is put on a shirt over the t-shirt and then take it off once the flight goes airborne. If one’s looking for drama they’ll find it. I was impressed with the t-shirt the late George Michael wore that had the words ‘CHOOSE LIFE’.

He was most certainly not ‘confused’. He knew just what he was doing. First mistake; wearing anything with the word or image of BOMBS on your shirt while boarding any plane within the United States. Second mistake; wearing a BOMBS t-shirt while looking exactly like a bomber.
He could argue whether it is fair to racially profile people or not at some other time. Sometimes, if it looks like a Duck and dresses like a Duck ...It’s a Duck!
An acquaintance who mfg odd fittings for industry had his luggage inspected, before boarding.
When asked what the odd fitting was, he jokingly said, “a bomb.”
He was arrested immediately.
