Its possible and honestly I dont have any issue with that..its only for a little while and I think its a really nice gesture on Trump’s part to even mention her. Lindsey Graham adored his sister it would be a nice tribute and what harm will it do, nothing
And won’t the Senate be in recess most of the time between now and November anyway, judiciously avoiding doing things like approving Trump’s judicial appointments and passing the SAVE Act?
So Lindsey’s sister can say she was a Senator for a few months, and not really have to do much to prove it.
Exactly, heck I would LOVE the SAVE ACT to be passed, but it didnt get passed even with Lindsey Graham alive and he wanted it passed, so I dont think Darline could do much harm, if any harm at all..its a nice gesture, President Trump has really taken Lindsey’s death hard, they were such good friends he considered him family, and he wants to do something to honor him
His sister traveled with him frequently, met many leaders and is probably more familiar with his activities than anyone else outside the Senate.
More than anything else, if his history has shown us anything, it is that Donald J. Trump is a very decent human being.

And she was just appointed, I had never seen her before, seems like a nice lady..I think this is what Lindsey Graham would have wanted, he would have been proud

Yes indeed, given the circumstances she handled herself incredibly well during that announcement.
It lowers the temperature. Hopefully the left gets the memo. Not counting on it.
Career social worker. No history of conservative activism or involvement in Republican politics beyond her brother’s races. Never held political office. This will work out well.
