US Senator Lindsey Graham's preliminary cause of death has been divulged following an investigation by the DC Medical Examiner.
Per a statement issued by Graham's office just before 5:00pm EST on Sunday, 'Aortic Dissection due to Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease,' was the cause of his 'sudden' passing.

Aorta split open because he was old.
John Ritter and his Father died the same way, albeit young. I knew a fellow that died from this in his early 30s.
Very sad, makes sense why Trump said that Graham “Sounded tired” on the phone, he had no idea what was happening was that Graham was bleeding to death internally but didnt know it, til it was too late. John Ritter went to the hospital immediately but still died on the table. I remember when he passed, such a wonderful, great actor, great human being

Come on people. He’s one of 100 senators and will be replaced by another republican. It’s not like he had our enemies freaking out.
The guy I knew was a smoker. Also my Brother in Law who died from the same thing was also a smoker.
My Grandfather died of the exact same thing at 69. He was sitting on a shop stool, his doctor said he was dead before he hit the floor.
When your aorta splits open, they have like seconds to fix it. They would have to cut him open, find the bleed, sew it or put a membrane on it, and do it all very quickly.
Unless you have someone already prepped for surgery, I don't see how anyone can survive an aorta splitting open.
In the old days it took 20 years for a conspiracy theory to spread. With the internet, it takes 20 minutes.
Due to family history, among the numerous I test I have each year, I have my aorta measured. Oddly, when I was working, it would get slightly larger every year. Since I retired, it has reversed and is now in the normal range. Funny how things like that happen. I wonder if his annual checkup monitored it regularly. Things like that can creep up on you until they burst, then game over.
I think quite a few people die from it. I think when someone just slumps over and dies, that is usually what it is.
It’s one of the things I worry about, though I have no family history of it.

Should have been detected but just because he was a Senator is not to say he took his health seriously.
My brother and fellow Freeper EGPWS had the same and wasn’t as fortunate.
It’s often misdiagnosed as a heart attack, and that’s what happened to him.
You bet they will. So far it’s Iran assassination or Russians.
Free Republic it takes 20 seconds. Post it and others are spreading it, true or not. Even when you show them it isn’t true, some still believe and keep spreading. It’s an education issue.
