Good morning. For many Democrats, Graham Platner represented something much bigger than a fresh face to take on the seemingly unbeatable Republican Sen. Susan Collins. He was blue collar, progressive, and—seemingly—a true Mainer. For many, he seemed too good to be true.
Maybe he was.
On Monday, Politico dropped a bombshell report about a past girlfriend alleging sexual misconduct by Platner.
Platner denied the report, but—for the first time—suggested he might be exiting the race against Collins.
“Regardless of the inaccuracy of the reporting but mindful of the political reality it will inflict, we are taking the time to reflect on the best path forward for the state that I love, the people that I love, the movement I belong to, and the goal of defeating Susan Collins,” he said in a video posted on social media.

What other seats does Platner have any impact on this year?

The only even semi-plausible GOP pickup chances are Michigan and New Hampshire. MI is 50-50 if the Muzzie terrorist is the Rat nominee. Otherwise a probable loss.
NH isn’t even 50-50 and even though its right next door to Maine, Partner means zilch to New Hampshire voters.
No need to even mention his other scumbag or degenerate endeavors.
Dems knew exactly what Platner is, they have known from the beginning. Dems are the experts in opposition research, if you have dirt in your closet, if you took a piss in a sandbox when you were 3 they will know it but we are supposed to believe the Dems had NO CLUE what Platner is..of course they did they banked on it..the ONLY reason why they are throwing him away now is because they saw polling which showed him losing to Collins, they could give a rats ass about these women, and this particular woman from yesterday, they told her to hold off til the time was right, she was in the original NYT story and she never mentioned anything about being raped, til it was convenient for the Dems to throw Platner away

Mi has a rat SOS who is running for Governor and mass mail voting just rubber stamped by the rat courts. Not much chance from the looks of it.
Long ago a former client who was into Nazi memorabilia offered me an opportunity to try on a SS tunic. I refused to touch it, given what the SS had done.
If DOJ and the FBI had actually done their jobs over the past 2 years, we would have multiple well-known Democrats standing trial for various bad behavior — election fraud, financial fraud, medical fraud, even possible treason. Whether the media liked it or not, there would be headlines about these BAD DEMOCRATS. And, on top that, there would be this Nazi guy running for office as a Democrat and — for a long time — being supported by all the other Democrats.
The 2026 mid-terms could have been a landslide for the Republicans. But I think the Republicans didn’t want that at all.

Platner is the consumate democrat party bureaucrat image. He’s just a little overexposed as a candidate. As a DNC staffer, he’s got it all.
I am hoping they will lose Michigan as well where the other islamo-fascist nazi is running in the primary.

It was purposeful, they told that woman yesterday “OK go ahead, go on CNN they are waiting for you” and the rest is history..Dems thought they could get away with this, til they saw his poll numbers tank, and that was it, he had to go
At about 3:20 in this YouTube video is an interview with the DSA members who “found” Platner. After watching these two I don’t fear the DSA that much, pretty sure these two would find a way to f*ck up a one car funeral.
