The heat has broken here in New England, but I still feel hot.

I guess I have to adjust my inner thermostat.

You’ve had some awful heat, glad it has cooled off a bit, maybe it will stay cooler for a while.

We just got a bit of rain and the temp dropped about 15 degrees. WOO HOO!

Hi, lauren! You’re very welcome!

Hope you had a great holiday weekend. Did you watch fireworks.

I did...online. LOL! I can’t take the heat of actually standing in 95-degree temperatures. Ugh

Did some projects at the base back in the late 90’s
I was analyzing PCM Asbestos samples in a mechanical room by an hangars when MP’s came in. They thought I was manufacturing drugs. A scary minute.

Nice and quiet 4th, thanks!

Though I would be able to see the downtown fireworks from my upstairs balcony but there is some hotel building construction right in my line of site, LOL!

I’m with you luvie, it was too darned hot to spend much time outside, so watching online was just fine!

Y’all have a great week!

How dare they build a hotel that blocks your view of the fireworks! Incredibly rude. LOL

My bum foot kept me home but I was able to see a few fireworks here and there from the front porch.
Going to a parade or anything else outside during the day was a hard NO. Too hot!

Hey there, radu!

It wasn’t awful, but still....93 is still summery hot. I didn’t go out, and I didn’t see much of the kitties today. It’s still about 90. The sun just went down behind some clouds. That will probably never become rain here. The humidity is lower, so it will probably feel pretty comfy once it gets closer to dark. I might try to go out again tonight. Maybe I won’t get blown away. LOL!

How were things there? I gather the temp is still decent, unlike last week? Did you have to get out and do some shopping?

Every little bit helps. It was a FEW degrees cooler there than it’s been at least. That’s better than triple digits.

No rain anywhere close to you so nope, no rain in store.
It looked like it would rain at any time today, with huge cumulus clouds everywhere, but it never did. Gonna be like this pretty much all week - - scattered showers that blow up and don’t really move. If you get one, consider yourself lucky.

It edged up to 88 late this afternoon when the sun broke out for a bit. No breeze and high humidity made it uncomfortable but not miserable, like last week was.

I spent some time out this afternoon. Had to renew registration on the Town Car, pay the propane bill, and electric bill. Stopped by the place where I got new tires for Baby a few weeks ago to see about making an appointment for an oil change and got lucky. It wasn’t real busy and they did it then.

I was pleased to get home and my foot didn’t bother me. It’s a little achy but the swelling is still down even after the activity. Not down to normal but down from even the weekend.
Gettin’ there.
