President Trump’s bond with likely New York lawmaker Anthony Constantino is already set — in bronze.
Constantino, who got Trump’s endorsement to fill the seat of retiring upstate Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY), gifted a $250,000 bronze statue capturing his defiant fist-pump moments after surviving the 2024 assassination attempt in Butler, Pa., the president’s latest financial disclosure reveals.
Having won the Republican primary in last month’s election, Constantino is likely headed to Washington to represent the Republican-leaning district. His vote will be vital if Republicans manage to keep the House they hold by a narrow margin.
Called “The Defiance Moment,” the statute captures Trump with a raised fist, although it doesn’t exactly reproduce the moment after Thomas Matthew Crooks shot him.
He paid for the statue “to commemorate the moment President Trump was shot, rose up, and said ‘fight, fight, fight’ because it was an important moment in American history and in my own life,” Constantino told The Post Friday.
Constantino, the CEO of Sticker Mule who placed a 100-foot “Vote for Trump” sign atop his factory during the 2024 campaign, traveled to Florida to see the statue’s installation in April 2025. Trump had it placed in front of the pro shop at his Trump National Golf Club in West Palm Beach.
But the president, who has taken a keen interest in monumental Washington since his return to office, ordered up a change to the 7-foot statue, revealed sculptor George Lundeen.

The title makes it sound like he tried to kill him
Constantino won the primary for my district. Looking forward to voting for him in November. I hope he doesn’t disappoint.
I’ll miss Elise Stefanik.
She could yet develop into Presidential material.
cheap, should’ve cast it in 22k gold
Wow. That’s impressive.
Hat tip to Anthony Constantino
He was also the guy who put up a large brightly lit "Vote for Trump" sign on the Sticker Mule facility that was visible from the NYS Thruway and caused lots of (lol)"controversy".
Elise Stefanik was great. She had a huge district that stretched from a bit north of Albany, up along Lake Champlain and over to Lake Ontario. She did a great job and did great things for her district, especially Fort Drum.
Elise’s weekly emails were very informative. You’d get all the news about the north country. I think her husband did much of her communications and later Karoline Leavitt was her communication director.
I wonder why she really is leaving her congressional seat. She had received a lot of threats and was swatted. She has a young son and maybe her family was threatened.
More authentic would have Trump sans his shoes, no?
That's what I heard.
nice enough statue but it would have to be gold to be worth a quarter million dineros
I still get (almost) daily txts from Sticker Mule..
I’ve seen that Sticker Mule guy a couple of times. He impressed me — a good inheritor of Elise’s seat.
“I wonder why she really is leaving her congressional seat.”
I think I recall hearing she was considering a run for Governor, but I’m not sure if I’m remembering correctly.
She had a fallen out with President Trump in 2025. Trump suddenly withdrew her nomination to serve as U.S. ambassador to the United Nations. And then declined to back her in her bid for Governor of NY.
Why doesn’t that guy look trustworthy?
