While questions remain about what led investigators to a Vinton County home where 16 children were found living in what authorities described as "deplorable conditions," newly obtained court records show deputies had an arrest warrant for one of the home's occupants the day the children were discovered.
Authorities executed a search warrant at the home Tuesday and found the children inside. Ohio Attorney General Andy Wilson has described the conditions as "pure evil."
Four adult members of the Siders family were arrested and each is charged with 16 felony counts of endangering children. They are being held in the Vinton County jail on $300,000 bond.
Investigators have said they were conducting an unrelated investigation when they discovered the children and did not expect to find them inside the home.
Court records obtained by 10TV show a warrant for the arrest of Gary Siders Jr. was requested June 29 and served the following day, which was when authorities discovered the children.
The warrant lists four public indecency charges tied to incidents at the family's Ohmer Street home on May 23, May 27, May 29 and May 31. It remains unclear whether the public indecency investigation led investigators to the home.

An employee with the Mason County Clerk of Courts in West Virginia also confirmed that on March 31, 2008, Gary Siders II and Elizabeth Siders were married at the ages of 18 and 15, respectively.
Including the state where this happened?

Cops came to the house because of 4 public indecency reports in just a few days.
They came for the ‘father’.
I originally thought maybe one of the kids escaped the house.
“An employee with the Mason County Clerk of Courts in West Virginia...”
Mason County WV is on the Ohio River on Rt 35, not too far from me.
Its about 45 minutes from Hamden OH where they got caught.
Inbred slopeheads?
Holy Horny Hillbillies!
“Inbred slopeheads?”
The emerging story is pretty grisly.
Wilson said in a press conference Wednesday the children were “almost like feral animals.” He said two had to be care-flighted to the hospital, and at least one was in the ICU on the verge of death.
18 months -18 years old. DNA testing will be performed to determine parentage.
You’re telling me! The 18 year old can’t spell it’s (Gender not told) name. Kids were never seen outside, and no one ever heard them.
This is pure evil, and I hope the adults get the treatment they deserve in prison.
“””The 18 year old can’t spell it’s (Gender not told) name”””
I believe earlier reports stated the 18 year old is a girl and that she had learning disabilities.
