A shooting at a youth welfare facility in northern Germany on Monday left six people dead, police said. The suspected shooter was arrested.
Five people – four women and one man – died at the scene of the shooting in Stade, police said. A sixth, also an adult, died later at a hospital.
Police said several people were wounded, some of them seriously, German news agency dpa reported, but they did not give a specific figure or information on the victims’ identity.
Police said the shooting took place in the facility on Dankersstrasse, a street south of the town center. The facility includes temporary accommodation for pregnant women or young mothers with children.
A main suspect was arrested, while another two people were subject to “police measures” on suspicion of involvement, police said in a statement. They didn’t elaborate.

“Dankersstrasse” must be German for “Musty Street”
It must be a rogue policeman. It's almost impossible for Germans to get access to guns in Germany.
Or some AfD right wing extremists managed to find a cache of WW II weapons someplace. Or moose limbs.
Unless he was in a gun club. Quite common for Germans.
I was in one when I was stationed there.
However, you cannot take the firearm out of the range. Maybe he snuck it out? I wouldn’t know how since they inventory them, and the return area is near the door out.

IMHO Germany is in the category of Just War Theory. My main problem with the situation, assuming it was done by a German with killing rapefugee invaders in mind, is that he didn’t get organized into a larger group. You can’t save your country as a lone ranger.
