Sen. Thom Tillis, R-N.C., this week criticized U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro over her planned prosecution of the alleged Reflecting Pool vandals, suggesting it was hypocritical for her to do so after President Donald Trump pardoned Jan. 6 participants.
Pirro indicated that she would prosecute the suspects in the Reflecting Pool vandalism incident, who are currently in custody. Trump organized renovations of the iconic site on the National Mall as part of a broader effort to renovate the city, which has faced scrutiny.
Tillis, for his part, expressed dismay that the administration would pursue charges against the vandals while allowing Jan. 6 participants to go free.
“I don’t know what’s worse to you, vandalizing a pool or assaulting a police officer?” he said, according to The Hill. “Now we got somebody, let’s say they took a pen knife to a damn pool liner, you’re going to prosecute them for 10 years?”

Who gives a crap what this assistant Democrat thinks?
What a POS.
Shame and condemn this man wherever you see him.
Tillis is apparently retarded....
When did this goofball (yes, look up the history of that word) start spelling his surname as Tillis rather than Tillass?
Maybe the vandals have more work to do....Tommy.
Tillis is my senator. I would LOVE to meet him face to face and tell him what I think of him.
Don’t worry about Pirro...she’ll get hers back.
. “Now we got somebody, let’s say they took a pen knife to a damn pool liner, you’re going to prosecute them for 10 years?”
...not nearly the same think peckerhead.
This clown is a corrupt, paid for uniparty traitor. If he gets what is just none will morn.
Sen. Thom Tillis has let his years in the U.S Senate turn him into a knucklehead. If he is married, I can imagine the hell his wife is going through. The least of which, he pisses all over the top and fails to put the seat down.
Favoring the vandals over J6 defendants.
Did FBI undercover agents act as agents provocateurs to entrap the pool vandals? Will the vandals get put in solitary without medication and with no access to legal consultation?
Will an unarmed woman at the reflecting pool get shot to dath like Ashley Babbitt?
I’m sure not.
Why are these “republicans” such wusses? Sheesh.
To all anti American vandals: Consider the time before doing the crime.
“Tillis is apparently retarded....”
No, he is not. He knows exactly what he’s doing.
Of course he does. He is a Democrat. He just had an “R” after his name and fooled some people for a while.
Channeling his inner Obama/
This lining was supposed to be knife proof, but within days, someone was able to carve a 250 foot gash in it. Something is not adding up.
Trump takes two steps forward.
The Democrats push him back one full step.
Trash Republicans like Tillis push him back almost another full step.
It’s a wonder Trump makes any progress at all.
