~The FReeper Canteen Presents~ Road Trip: Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey
The Picatinny Arsenal is an American military research and manufacturing facility located on 6,400 acres of land in Jefferson and Rockaway Township in Morris County, New Jersey, United States, encompassing Picatinny Lake and Lake Denmark. The Arsenal is the headquarters of the US Army Combat Capabilities Development Command Armaments Center. It is known for developing the Picatinny rail, as well as being the Army's center of expertise for small arms cartridge ammunition.

Project Manager Soldier Lethality ensures that Soldiers on the battlefield have overmatch capabilities in individual and crew served weapons. PM SL supports Soldiers through the development, production, fielding, and sustainment of current and future weapons systems, as well as associated target acquisition/fire control products. As a result of PM SL's efforts, Soldiers benefit from continuous improvement programs and are equipped with systems that enhance both survivability and lethality.
The Paladin/Field Artillery Ammunition Support (FAASV) Integrated Management (PIM) Self-Propelled Howitzer (SPHS) is an indirect fire weapon system with the ability of delivering accurate, long range, lethal and non-lethal cannon fires in support of both Combined Arms Maneuver (CAM) and Wide Area Security (WAS) operations.
The DEVCOM Armaments Center has the lead in designing the Extended Range Cannon Artillery, an elaborate system of systems. Designing an improved muzzle brake is one of the many challenges facing engineers as the Army seeks to extend the range of cannon artillery.

Picatinny Arsenal has a beautiful water park with a huge pool that includes a six lane deep water area, a water basketball area and a beach entry. It also has a baby pool, a splash pad, 2 water slides, and a lazy river.

Force Recon Marines carried out some of the most dangerous missions of the Vietnam War. Operating in small teams with limited support, they relied on stealth, skill, and extraordinary discipline. Discovery by enemy forces often meant being vastly outnumbered and fighting for survival until their extraction could be arranged

Howdy, luvie.
Hope you were able to keep the kitties’ water cool. Another toasty day there. Ugh.
On the cooler side here due to rain, storms, and a couple of tornados coming through all afternoon. The last round of rain is coming through now.

Hey there, radu!
I try to keep their water in the shady areas for as long as possible. I have stuck my fingers into the stainless steel bowls during the hottest days, and the water is always cool....unless it’s sat in the sun for a very long time.
EEEK! Tornadoes?? Not good. I hope they missed all populated areas. I’m jealous of your rain. The soybeans are going to be so happy.
