Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has publicly accused President Donald Trump of fabricating a story about her during the G7 Summit in France.
In an interview with an Italian news outlet, Trump claimed that Meloni "begged" him for a photo at the Evian-les-Bains summit. "She's probably happy I talked to her. I didn't have to talk to her," Trump told La7 TV channel.
"She begged me to take a picture with her. She wanted a picture with me so badly," Trump continued per the translation. "I wouldn't have taken it, but I felt sorry for her."
Upon learning of Trump's remarks, Meloni released a statement declaring she was "astonished" and that the account was "completely made up." The Italian leader also rebuked the president for showing greater deference to Western adversaries than to longstanding U.S. allies, reports The Mirror U.S.

Meloni made the first error in the US-Italy relationship. She needs to take responsibility for all the consequences of that error.
Well for starters it affects their long-term security, secondly, we feed the failing Euro-weenies lots of money. I am not against pulling out of Europe all together and see how long they last on their socialist and muslim invasion track.
