Austin Metcalf's dad expresses empathy for Karmelo Anthony as killer's parents say 'they did a number on us'

Killer Karmelo Anthony's parents have been very vocal about what they claim was "injustice" following their son's murder conviction, while on the other side, the father of Austin Metcalf, whom Anthony stabbed and killed, has expressed forgiveness of his son's murderer.

After the verdict was presented to the court Tuesday, Metcalf's father, Jeff Metcalf, unleashed a fiery tirade at Anthony.

He also had a sorrowful reaction after the trial, CBS reported. In a sit-down interview with the outlet, he said, "I'll even say this: I had a little bit of sorrow because I'm human; and that poor boy is fixing to experience a life that I would not wish upon anyone."

From the reports of how Anthony approached the tent where Metcalf was standing, and his attitude when he was told he was not wanted, it's clear that Karmelo Anthony needs to be removed from civilized society.

I'm not going to say that he will learn better manners in prison, but at least we will be protected from him.

I believe that. I really do...I have had personal experience and felt the awesome power of forgiveness, but I haven’t had a spouse or family member murdered in cold blood, and I just can’t comprehend that.

The irony is that after the verdict was read, a reporter went to the tent where the Anthony family was standing.
When the reporter was told he was not wanted, the reporter WALKED AWAY. The reporter didn’t kill any Anthony.

I wonder if the jungle family and their supporters can see the parallels.
