Report: Epstein tried to offer prosecutors dirt on Trump for a deal, but he didn't actually have anything on Trump

Jeffrey Epstein's attorneys were in discussions with prosecutors before his death about potentially trying to get him a more lenient sentence if he gave up information that could help them in other cases, The New York Times reported Tuesday — with notes suggesting Epstein wanted to pass along information about President Donald Trump.

Child sex offender Jeffrey Epstein tried to dig up dirt on President Trump in a desperate bid for leniency in the days leading up to his suicide, but was unable to deliver anything of substance, according to a report.

During his many marathon meetings with his parade of lawyers while he was locked up in a federal jail in Lower Manhattan, Epstein often had his nose buried in a legal pad scrawling disjointed one-liners about the commander-in-chief, such as 'Trump is a total con artist — smoke & mirrors' and 'Never had money.'

The best dirt Epstein had on Trump was ... that he isn't really as rich as he claims?

Trump developed real estate in Chicago without ever getting involved with the mafia.

If he did, we would have heard about it in 2016.

He’s clean as a whistle.

By that time, the Democrats were creating their own baseless garbage. It should have been a sign that liars had to invent lies because the truth was repugnant to them. TBH, if there were any legit skeletons in his closet, Trump had the time and the money to eliminate them before his first ride down the escalator. He’s no dummy.

“”if he gave up information that could help them in other cases””

Does or can the NY times give any specifics on just what OTHER CASES Epstein’s information would have helped his attorneys ? Or just spouting nonsense again?

Epstein, like Obama was a creation, a construct. Nothing real about either. Created to perform a certain role and for influence peddling and control for the intelligence agencies.

JD Vance just said yesterday on The View that Epstein HATED Trump. That is because Trump kicked him out of Mara Lago.
That Trump turned him into the Palm Beach police. Which eventually led to his FIRST conviction in Florida.

This was the conviction where the Bush Department of Justice was told to GO EASY on Epstein when he was convicted of Statutory Rape of a 14 year old girl.

IF Epstein had anything on Trump it would have come out prior to him beating Hillary. They had nothing on him. THAT IS WHY THE DEEP STATE HATES TRUMP. They can not control him.

Was this part of the NYSlimes story referenced in the article?

Can’t blame Epstein for trying. He knew the prosecutors — all of whom suffered from tertiary TDS — would jump at the offer of dirt on Trump.

Thats why the Biden Administration didnt release the files right after the disastrous debate, because the files contained nothing of substance. Does ANYONE here think that if the files had ANYTHING bad on Trump they wouldnt have released it IMMEDIATELY after the debate, that is all anyone would have been talking about, not the fact that Biden couldnt put two words together and crapped his pants, it would have been about those files, but they had nothing they always had nothing

Title should read, Prosecutors offered Epstein a deal if he gave information on Trump. But he didn’t have any.

Just who told the Bush Dep’t. of Justice to go easy on Epstein? Some curious Republicans might like to know...if they don’t already know.

I would ASSume the CIA.

This is based on the US Attorney(Acosta) that was in charge of the Epstein case in Florida. He stated that “Someone above his pay grade, told him to go easy on him. That he belonged to intelligence.” (To go easy on his sentencing.)

This was what Acosta said when Trump had to withdraw his nomination for a cabinet post back in 2017. So, you are correct in asking WHO/WHAT has the power to tell a US ATTORNEY to go easy on a Federally Convicted Felon.
IMHO, the only persons that have the power to do that are the Attorney General(his boss)of the US and the POTUS(his bosses boss).
After a direct request from the Director of the CIA because he “belonged to intelligence”.

This is why Epstein was allowed to continue his operations in multiple locations on US soil(NYC, FL, NM, USVI) plus Paris, France. After he was convicted of rape of a minor. He was getting dirt on people and then giving that information to our government. That information was used to manipulate those compromised individuals. People like the CEO of Microsoft. The former PM of Israel. Multiple other CEOs including several billionaires. Basically, anyone he could draw into his HONEY TRAP.

Dersch says Epstein not aligned with any spy network (US or Israel)

Re: "Child sex offender Jeffrey Epstein."

Also known as - under age prostitution.

The reason only one under age female testified against Epstein in his 2008 criminal trial, is because ALL the under age women were paid the market rate for sex - or higher.

In addition, ALL of those women lied when he asked how old they were, which is a common legal strategy, for men seeking underage females.

The fact that ALL the under age victims accepted money (always before sex), and always lied about their age, mitigates the crime of sex with an under age female.

Dersch is mincing words. Like ALL good lawyers do.

Epstein did not work directly for the US government.
He just provided information to them.
Which is why they helped keep him out of jail.

Why else would he have gotten a one year sentence at a minimum security facility. Where he got to leave every day and come back at night.
It is not like he committed mail fraud. He was convicted of statutory rape of a minor. I am surprised there wasn’t a minimum sentence of five years.
