Multiple SF Giants pitchers appear to be protesting team’s Pride Night

The San Francisco Giants have worn rainbow-colored hats on their annual celebration of the LGBTQIA+ community since 2021. But when "Pride Night" came to Oracle Park for 2026 on Friday, four of the five pitchers the Giants used in the game doctored their uniforms in what has been become an increasingly common form of protest from MLB players.

During the June 5, 2026 Pride Night at Dodger Stadium, Dodger pitchers Blake Treinen and Alex Call refused to wear the team’s rainbow-colored Pride caps.

The Texas Rangers are the only MLB team that does not have a pride night.

The Trump effect is evident,plus the declining impact of legacy media on public opinion. Three years ago, there would only be one very committed Christian ball player that would resist the woke agenda even at the cost of his career. Now if the Giants or Dodgers were to punish or trade the anti-pervert players, the resulting backlash would seriously hurt attendance and advertising revenue. Keep in mind that even in California, the Republicans receive 35-40% of the vote statewide. The actual number is likely higher due to institutionalized vote fraud.

The legacy media and liberal narrative aside, major league team owners in all sports recognize the changed atmosphere. They didn't get to be billionaires by strictly adhering to ideology.
