A massive fire at a Tracy warehouse complex was burning out of control Thursday afternoon and sending a huge plume of black smoke into the air.
The fire broke out at a little before 1 p.m. at the Medline Distribution Center, a medical supply warehouse in the 5700 block of Promontory Parkway just south of Interstate Highway 205 and west of the downtown area, according to Tracy Police Department spokesperson Kaylin Heefner.

From the article:
“Chief Bradley also mentioned that fire hydrants were not providing good pressure, which hindered their ability to attack the fire.”
Mayor Bass forgot to refill the reservoirs again?
Just food for thought...
Los Angeles firefighters respond to roughly 17,000 fires annually that are classified as homeless or encampment-related. This equates to an average of about 46 fires every day, making up approximately one-third of the total fire call volume for the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD).
