Jake Lang, a far-right influencer who was criminally charged in connection with the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol insurrection but was later pardoned by President Trump, was arrested in Dallas, Texas, on a state charge of making terroristic threats.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, 31-year-old Lang was arrested Tuesday after getting off a flight in Dallas on one third-degree felony count of making a terroristic threat. He was booked into the Dallas County Jail.

The charge comes after photos and videos showed Lang outside the Collin County courthouse several times this past week during the murder trial for teen Karmelo Anthony.

Boy, this article sure isn't biased at all. /s

In a video posted to his X account Tuesday, the voice of a man claiming to be Lang alleges that he is calling from the Dallas County Jail, and says, "They've arrested me for a felony, what's called terroristic threats, simply because I said that if the jury did not find Karmelo Anthony guilty, that we the people will deal with justice. And this is a classic case of lawfare used to squash a First Amendment protester like myself."

What are the odds that whatever "terroristic threat" he made are milquetoast in comparison to the black protestors agitating to kill white people?

What about the black guy that was screaming “the only good cracker is a dead cracker”? And that was at the same protest, right in front of the cops?

I don’t see how what he said could be considered any sort of actionable threat.

I’ve seen some of the videos. When will they be held accountable for their threats?

Again, politicos seized on anything useful from 9/11.

No one ever had “terroristic threats” until after that.

It was just threats. Terror in legal terms should imply violence in the name of a group by a group for a specific purpose, but NewSpeak again strikes and declares everything “terror”.

I agree with you. “We the people will deal with justice” is edgy. But it contains no overt call to violence. And that should be the test.

Otherwise, we devolve into something like the UK today. The authorities there put the worst possible interpretation on a comment, then find a reason to arrest you for it.

Why this guy didn’t keep a low profile after being pardoned by President Trump I have no idea. He could’ve been somebody!

but he was pardoned by Mr. Trump

No bias. The Ahole writer, Shawna Mizelle, from CBS I guess did not get the message that Trump is President Trump. This one is a far left reporter big on the issues of DEI.

The words “Jan. 6 riot” piss me off, too, as well as that “Far-Right” bullcrap.

Many of the protestors were told by the Capitol Police, “Come on in, this is your House!” And then proceeded to take selfies of themselves or photograph the giant paintings in the Rotunda of the Capitol. Some riot.

How do I know CBS hates President Trump? When they refer to him as Mr. Trump, that’s a pretty clear indication.

Hmm. Arrested and held in Democrat controlled Dallas County for statements allegedly made in Collin County? I guess we know which side the Texas Department of Public Safety is on.

Yeah..condemn the one guy who actually got off his ass and stood up for his country and your rights. Unlike the key board mouths here.
Those who show up, win.
