Outrage as Netanyahu is caught SPYING on Trump's Iran negotiators... as JD Vance reveals a chilling truth about Israel
The Daily Mail ^ | 06/09/2026 | Phillip Nieto

Posted on 06/09/2026 9:35:02 AM PDT by thegagline

JD Vance suggested Israel may not be on board with a US-Iran peace deal as he was grilled over bombshell intelligence reports claiming Benjamin Netanyahu's spy agencies have been eavesdropping on American negotiators.

US intelligence officials are alarmed by Israel's eavesdropping on American diplomats negotiating with Iran. The Pentagon now ranks Israel as a bigger counterintelligence threat than some of America's enemies, according to The New York Times.

The report details concerns that Israel has been spying on senior Trump officials, including the President's top negotiator Steve Witkoff and Pentagon policy chief Elbridge Colby, along with other American military and government personnel.

Fox News anchor Jesse Watters grilled Vance over the spy threat Israel poses to the US, asking how concerned he was about the country eavesdropping on America. ***

'I think obviously the Israelis and the United States, we have a lot of shared interests***Vance replied, refusing to address the spy allegations. ***

The central demands the US is pressing Iran to accept are that it abandon its pursuit of a nuclear weapon and surrender its stockpile of enriched uranium. The regime, however, wants control of the Strait of Hormuz, the lifting of the US blockade on its ports, and an end to the fighting in Lebanon between Hezbollah and Israel.

Regarding the spy allegations, the Israeli embassy categorically denied The New York Times' claims by insisting the country does not spy on American officials or entities and poses no threat to the US. One senior Trump administration official told the outlet that the Israeli intelligence collection on US officials since the start of the President's second term has been 'unhinged.'

Two senior US military officials told the Times that American personnel serving in Israel or with Israeli counterparts were aware of the counterintelligence threats.  ***

Israel is the largest recipient of U.S. foreign aid in the world. Since President Trump took office on January 20, 2025, Israel has received approximately $12 billion in U.S. taxpayer-funded military assistance. As of April 30, 2026, the United States has spent roughly $29 billion on military operations in the conflict with Iran (this figure does not include indirect costs such as elevated energy prices).

So why wouldn't they? There's noting about this administration that demonstrates that it can be trusted in fighting and winning Middle East wars, or anywhere else (watch out Taiwan!).

Heck, Vance just admitted last night that the Trump Administration was stabbing the Israelis in the back and trying to cut its own deal with the Iranians, whether the Israelis like it or not.

So I'd keep a close eye on Kushner, Witkoff, and Vance too...they're basically negotiating a U.S. defeat out of victory, at Israel's expense, and that of every other Arab country that backed the initial U.S. air and naval campaign back in February. I wouldn't trust us either.

Hah! Yeah, FR is definitely occupied territory. But it’s important that evangelical zionists get a bit of pushback now and then, if only to remind them that not everyone is onboard with their Israel-first crackpottery.

Why is this “chilling”? Every country in the world with a spy agency is spying on every OTHER country, including their allies. It’s just the game they all play.

Well, then, maybe Isreal shouldn’t ask for our help or money.

U.S. foreign aid in the world? I would say that all of the European countries who have relied on US Military Support for the last 70 years have been subsidized MUCH MUCH more. Perhaps trillions, which we could have used here in the US.

I'll admit to cutting Trump some slack for a while based on his track record in his first term and early in his second term. I grimaced when he attacked ISIS in Syria in his first term -- but it didn't lead to a long war like I feared. Neither did his quick attacks in Yemen, Somalia, or Pakistan. And in his second term he took out Venezuela's leader without a new war.

So I gave him the benefit of the doubt on Iran. But that was 3 and a half months ago.

Feral media with speculation and anonymous sources are pushback? That’s funny.

Israel spying on USA? So what?

Everyone with a lick of sense spies on everyone else.

If I were the Israeli’s I would spy on the negotiations so I could know where it was going. I don’t want them ‘spying’ on our people, but I am realistic that this has to be expected here.

Might want to check your facts. I don’t think that’s even close averaged for the last 5 years. However, since I am against US aid to practically everything anymore it would be nice if it was zero.

As far as the amount of money spent on the Iran war, it’s clearly not enough yet. Trump probably needs to step it up.
