Thank you very much and God bless you.

Earlier this month, an Atlas Poll favored Rubio 45 to 30 over Vance. The Atlas Poll followed Rubio's brilliant performance as press secretary substituting for Karoline Leavitt when she was on maternity leave. Now we have our first poll following the Atlas Poll and, either, that Atlas Poll was a fluke, or things are now back to the way things were prior to that poll.

Vance was press secretary today; did an excellent job.

Honestly, I would be okay with any of the three as President and either of the other two as VP. It is good having a solid bench to choose from.

Compare and contrast with the current democrat bench of Kamala Harris, Gavin Newsom or Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

Never underestimate the how the media and many polls are designed to cause problems within this Administration i.e. hoping to create infighting between Vance and Rubio camps. Take everything with a grain of salt, especially this far out.

The breadth and depth of JD's command of the issues and of how he and DJT are addressing them was more than merely impressive.

He was also Reaganesque in his comportment, his treatment of both friendly and hostile questioners, and his amazingly presidential conduct, demeanor, and behavior.

He remained steadfastly supportive of DJT (and he was persuasive without name-calling.)

Polls are worse than ever. After 2016 all pollsters said they would do an audit of themselves to see how they got things so wrong. Then they immediately went back to business as usual.

Pollsters over-poll certain areas and basically pick their respondents to get the responses they want. They also poll RV rather than LV depending on the narrative they want to set. Plus, many have a tendency to poll small groups. You can’t get an informed response based upon 600 voters from two zip codes.

Don’t trust any of them.

Thanks, Flaming. I didn’t know Vance pinch hit for Karoline today. I checked it out, and, yes, he did well. I think the idea of having principals speak for the administration is an excellent idea. Sort of like when members of a jazz band showcase their talent. Compare how both Vance and Rubio did when they had their time at the mike to Kamala Harris.

I would agree the poll sowing Rubio ahead was likely an outlier. VPs historically have far stronger support than rivals at this point in the cycle.
