The San Diego mosque shooters were “radicalized online,” cops say — as it’s revealed they wore Nazi symbols and etched racist statements on their gear as they opened fire outside an Islamic Center, killing three people in the process.
The two teens “did not discriminate on who they hated,” law enforcement officials said in a press conference Tuesday, adding they had recovered over 30 guns and a crossbow in connection to the suspects.
A livestream video of the horrific attack, currently being probed by the FBI, shows Cain Clark with a Black Sun symbol, which is associated with Nazi Germany, square on his chest. Nazi SS commander Heinrich Himmler had the symbol inlaid into the floor of the Wewelsburg castle.

So if gun store managers and gun show dealers as well as weapon manufacturers should be charged as responsible for mass shootings and various other crimes, why not shut down social media and the internet to punish them for people becoming radicalized? /S

If they were radicalized online, who was providing the information? They should have gone after a synagogue if they were “nazis” of old. Something isn’t adding up,perhaps they were being indoctrinated by some of these pierced purple haired TikTok teachers that dont have any formal training in things like....actual history.

Inside the vehicle where the two suspects committed suicide, investigators recovered anti-Islamic writings, a suicide note focused on “racial pride,” and Nazi “SS” imagery scrawled onto their weapons. The teenagers reportedly met online, bonding over a shared hatred of various races and religions. While the attack is currently being treated as a hate crime, the FBI and local law enforcement emphasize the investigation remains active.
So far the investigation is showing them to be of a type of person that was not suspected to do it by nearly all posters here on FR which just goes to show you… It has somebody else said “can be anyone”

You’re right some bishops and priests were friendly and helpful, especially in Germany itself.
The Pope was mainly concerned about the fate of the Roman Church in a Nazi-dominated Europe. Bit of a wimp at first, but got stronger in the end. He did make a protest against the treatment of Jews and used resources and influence to get them out of harm’s way.
And then some priests were famously opposed to the Nazis and helped Jews.
Very mixed bag.

In 1937, Pius XI released an entire encyclical against the Nazis, and it was released in German, not the usual Latin.
All the Nazis who were Catholics left the Catholic Church by the mid 1930's. For example, probably the last major Nazi who was Catholic, Reinhard Heydrich, left Catholicism in early 1936 for the Gottgläubig movement.
Oh yes, and Hitler kept trying to convince Italy to kidnap the Pope, because they wanted to imprison him.
