American Federation of Teachers boss Randi Weingarten tapped hundreds of thousands in union resources to help write her controversial book — working with a team that raked in more than $1.4 million from the labor group, a new analysis found.
Weingarten used the abundance of union-fueled resources for the liberal agenda-pushing “Why Fascists Fear Teachers: Public Education and the Future of Democracy” then pocketed a portion of the proceeds, the Freedom Foundation claimed in a new report.
Her team included an attorney who supposedly worked on the book pro bono but whose firm raked in $977,000 for various work for AFT, as well as a supposed “ghost writer” who earned over $400,000 overall from the union, the report said.

Oh, the laughs keep coming with her.
She’s got it in reverse. Fascists LOVE teachers. Teachers are a vital plank in fascist plans.
Even before coming to power, Hitler in Mein Kampf (1925–27; “My Struggle”) had hinted at his plans for broad educational exploitation. The Ministry of Public Enlightenment and Propaganda exercised control over virtually every form of expression—radio, theatre, cinema, the fine arts, the press, churches, and schools. The control of the schools began in March 1933 with the issuing of the first educational decree, which held that “German culture must be treated thoroughly.” The Nazi government attempted to control the minds of the young and thus, among other means, intruded Nazi beliefs into the school curriculum. A major part of biology became “race science,” and health education and physical training did not escape the racial stress. Geography became geopolitics, the study of the fatherland being fundamental. Physical training was made compulsory for all, as was youth labour service. Much of the fundamental curriculum was not disturbed, however.
Here we read, Hitler believed that children needed to be raised in National Socialism in order to continue being loyal to the Nazi state after their education. Therefore, once Hitler rose to power in Nazi Germany in 1933, he began to make immediate changes to the education system. The Nazi state changed the curriculum taught in primary and secondary schools to reflect National Socialism. To further their instruction outside of school, students were forced to participate in youth groups, like the Hitler Youth and League of German Girls.
Weingarten needs to be tried for COVID war crimes. She was instrumental is getting teachers a two year paid vacation while kids suffered terribly. Randi is an enemy of the people.
Isn’t it a shame that the head of the TEACHERS’ union doesn’t recognize a “fascist” when she sees one in the mirror.

I was an involuntary member of the AFT for quite some time.
The AFT preaches democracy. But I never once got to vote on the AFT leadership. They are all chosen by hand-picked delegates at conventions.
Exactly like how Stalin used to do it.
At least she isn’t writing it herself. Remember that tweet she made about a year ago that was filled with misspellings and other errors? (Didn’t know the difference between “peak” and “peek”, for one thing.)
It would be interesting to see any ties she has to the CCP and how much they possibly pay her.
This person seems like a rather poor choice to head the AFT who by it’s nature deals with a lot of young & “straight” kids.
And?
Does anything ever happen to these people?
