I am a former democrat, and I lost friends as well. Years later, I couldn’t care less. I made new friends.
I lost a friend I had since my college days because I supported Trump. She chose politics over friendship.
JFK and RK, both of whom I met, were reasonably nice guys. And they were both murered by idiots.
