Asked by the far-left Drop Site News if Iran reached out to the US since the beginning of the operation to attempt to reach a deal, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Esmail Baghaei answered with a strong no.
"Do you think any Iranian with common sense would be in a position to reach out to the United States under these circumstances? We were negotiating with the US. In just less than one year, we were betrayed," he insisted.
Iran Army Spokesperson: “Our people’s and armed forces’ resilience stopped the enemy from achieving any goals. Controlling the Strait of Hormuz will bring us economic revenues twice as high as oil income, while strengthening our foreign policy power. After this war, there will be no retreat.”

He’s right.
There is no point in diplomacy, just win.
He pretends they have won. Tehran Ted.
Baghdad Bob is alive and well and working on behalf of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Teheran.
What negotiations? There was never an honest attempt at negotiations on the part of any factor representing the ayatollahs or the IRGC on any aspect with either the US or Israel.
Even a recalcitrant Missouri mule will make some kind of grudging response after it gets whacked in the head enough with a slippery-elm club. Apparently the IRGC is made of sterner stuff.
The ayatollahs that were still remaining after the “clearing out” of the old leadership have all already bugged out for Moscow or other points of refuge.
I formerly thought that the reason to bomb Iran, if any, was the existential threat they posed. Now I believe that it is a simple matter of eliminating these annoying bastards. They are insufferable.
“After this war, there will be no retreat.”
Annihilation is near. Martyrdom is such a dead-end job.
Both are true.
BOMBS AWAY! Take out everything.
If they haven’t already done it, they have a satchel packed and ready to go.

The only logical reason for this pause is to build our stockpile of bombs up.
They wish they could lift the blockade, because it’s a major obstacle to rebuilding their stockpile of bombs.
They can get some supplies in through the Caspian Sea, but not enough to keep afloat indefinitely. They need that Strait. Trump knows it, too.
Which is why he’s keeping it clamped down, and prolonguing negotiations. Mean time arms are getting to the Immortal Guard, they are getting trained through Mossad and CIA operatives, and they plan, and occasionally strike IRGC check points.
