The Greek government has warned that there are over half a million migrants waiting in Libya to cross the Mediterranean and land in Europe, sparking concerns of another migrant crisis.
Greek Migration Minister Thanos Plevris said this week that Athens estimates there are approximately 550,000 migrants waiting in Libya, the African hub, for the opportunity to cross to Europe.
Among the policies enacted by Athens to stem the tide of illegals has been the erection of a 41-kilometre (25-mile) wall along the Turkish border, which has previously been weaponised by the Islamist Erdogan government in Ankara. Pelvris said that Athens is working closely with Libyan authorities as well as the European Union’s external border force Frontex to prevent migrant boats from taking off from the coastline of the Maghreb nation.
“Those who are not entitled to asylum will be detained,” the migration minister said, per Greek news outlet Voria. “Now, when it is likely that someone will not get asylum, they are not placed in a freedom status but in a detention status, so that with the rejection of asylum, they can be returned.”
The official defended the hardline approach taken by the conservative government of Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis to reduce illegal immigration, saying that “there is no reason for Greece to open its borders and accept people” and therefore Greece “will operate within the legal framework, but will also reach its limits in order to protect the borders.”

The only way to fix this is to ban immigration completely. Let every nation take care of its own people and stay out of their way.
I’d be willing to work with other nations, to teach them how to create better opportunities and institutions, but trying to fix it through immigration is the worst of all solutions.
10 years from now, no country is going to allow immigration. Globalist organizations will collapse by then because none of this is sustainable.
Europe provides massive financial and social incentives for illegal aliens, then they wonder why they get millions of illegal aliens. Of course, the same is true of us.
The Spanish PM and his party just legalized over 500k Muslim immigrants in their country, once he made that announcement, I’m sure hundreds of thousands more still in North Africa can’t wait to get there.

Then: The End.
Borders opened. Guns confiscated. Social media monitored and free speech ended. No use of cars without government permission and distance restrictions.
The woman who made that difference statement will be on the Supreme Court. One of 15 justices but still a chance to wield power over the socialist states of America.

And Trump is dragging his feet with Iran while they rearm to whatever degree is possible over land. One wonders about Chinese and Russian cash flow to support it with the Ukraine War and higher oil prices respectively. Meanwhile I’m not hearing anything about arming resistance groups within Iran other than promises to do it. I’ve seen no numbers describing how many Iranians might be so inclined or what are their propensities beyond Kurdish groups or the MEK, both of which are effectively commies. So the takeout strategy remains a mystery to me.
