Obama - Today’s Supreme Court decision effectively guts a key pillar of the Voting Rights Act, freeing state legislatures to gerrymander legislative districts to systematically dilute and weaken the voting power of racial minorities

Today’s Supreme Court decision effectively guts a key pillar of the Voting Rights Act, freeing state legislatures to gerrymander legislative districts to systematically dilute and weaken the voting power of racial minorities - so long as they do it under the guise of “partisanship” rather than explicit “racial bias.”

And it serves as just one more example of how a majority of the current Court seems intent on abandoning its vital role in ensuring equal participation in our democracy and protecting the rights of minority groups against majority overreach.

The good news is that such setbacks can be overcome. But that will only happen if citizens across the country who cherish our democratic ideals continue to mobilize and vote in record numbers - not just in the upcoming midterms or in high profile races, but in every election and every level. 2:46 PM · Apr 29, 2026 ·

In other words, the Supreme Court rules the voting rights act cannot be used for racist purposes.

Obama’s whole power structure is based on overt racism.

As opposed to, "Today’s Supreme Court decision affirms a key pillar of the Voting Rights Act, freeing state legislatures to gerrymander legislative districts to systematically dilute and weaken the voting power of white majorities - so long as they do it under the guise of “partisanship” rather than explicit “racial bias.”

He had nothing to say to rural and farm voters in Virginia, where his henchman at his direction drew up a map totally disenfranchising them of representation.

Race is designed to designate special areas that depress those areas. Regionalism is ignored. The Sixth in our state is in too many media markets, as I wrote in 2019 to the National Right to Life News. You do not need a market that spans too many media markets and there’s no commonality. If you’re in a district that’s on the far side of the state but the representation is designed for the city centre that you have nothing in common, you see the issue.

“The racist black from Africa thinks blacks should have more voting power than any one else.”

Black supremacism is real. The tail that wants to wag the dog. The top House Dem is black, with a (fake) Muslim name Hakeem. Blacks should be happy, the wealthiest blacks on the planet.
