He’s an ill old man whose mother’s health was robust enough to essentially cheat him out of ruling much sooner (thank God). Weak, old and sick. Anyway, I’m happy for him that he was finally allowed to marry the love of his life (there’s no accounting for other people’s tastes) so they can grow old-er together. Thankfully, he’s past being able to do much damage.
