Jimmy Kimmel, host of ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" show, responded on Monday to demands from first lady Melania Trump and President Donald Trump that he be fired for his "expectant widow" comment.
In a sketch last week that was a parody of the White House Correspondents' Dinner, Kimmel referred to Melania Trump as an "expectant widow." Following the shooting on Saturday, the first lady demanded Kimmel be fired for what she said was a call for violence. The president later joined his wife in the demand, posting on Truth Social, "Jimmy Kimmel should be immediately fired by Disney and ABC."
Kimmel on Monday night joked about the controversy in his opening monologue and went on to say that the joke was about Trump's age and not a call for the president to be assassinated, according to the Washington Post. President Trump is 79 and his wife turned 56 on Sunday.

I recall a time when comedians were actually funny and made people laugh instead of being filled with hatred and rage like Kimmel and Steve Colbert.
Sometimes you just have to ignore small people.
I have to right to say, Kimmy needs to be beaten to a pulp, then curb stomped. Now I agree, free speech is a double edged sword. However there is such a thing as decorum and class, which apparently he doesn’t have.
Oh it wasn’t a “joke” so sick of hearing people claim what he said was a joke, it wasnt a joke, it was predetermined knowledge of what was about to happen. His explanation makes ZERO sense, Trump and his wife have always had a huge age difference, so why make that statement now..all of a sudden he realized there is a 30 year age difference between the two, I guess he had a vision LOL..NO, he KNEW what was about to happen and he needs to be investigated for that..he can use the same expectant widow comment about Joe Biden, he’s old, he has terminal prostate cancer, his wife is younger than him, Jill Biden is going to be a widow too eventually, so why not make a wise crack about that..he didnt, which again tells me he knew what was about to go down, prove it otherwise

Its a nearly dead industry, so its use for political propaganda is all that remains.

In the case of Kimmel, he has done nothing in the line of what it takes to run a country nor defend one. And by denying his widow line, he’s also a liar and a coward. If you say something out of line, and in this case it was predetermined he would say it so he had plenty of time to determine it was wrong to use it, then take your hit like an adult human with intestinal fortitude and not try to wash it away. That’s gutless.

Considering the timing of when he said it (2 days before the WHCD), I think warrants a visit from the FBI and SS.
Sounds like he knew or at least suspected something was going to happen that night.
I have said for years I would pay to see Colbert beaten to death on live TV. I feel like a Romanian in December 1989 during the collapse of the iron curtain. I am tired of the corrupt statists/ marxists above us constantly flaunting their lies, propaganda and power in public, with zero consequences.
