Chaos at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner turned surreal as a brief shooting scare involving Donald Trump triggered panic—while viral videos showed journalists fleeing with food and wine, sparking a “Wine Gate” controversy. Pre-event remarks by press secretary Karoline Leavitt about “shots fired” added an eerie twist, as the FBI now probes the incident amid global scrutiny.

Everyone steals wine when shots ring out at dinner parties.
Just the blue hair screamin’ mammy banshee RATS stealing the bottles to make molotove cocktails.
Watta fashion flop----the wine stealer wears furs in April.
Yep. It almost as if they knew something was going to happen but knew they themselves weren’t in any danger.
Personally....I find that behavior a bit more than a little odd.
If the bottles were open, they would be thrown out. No reason to blame people for saving some of their expensive dinner.
“wears furs in April”
Probably lined with pockets large enough to accommodate wine sized bottles.
I reckon she thought: “Why let good wine go waste?”
If she hadn’t taken it the wait staff, likely, would have.
My guess is that it had already been paid for.
A gurl needs to get her drank on!
I can’t imagine an issue with anyone taking especially open bottles.
It was chaos and you’d typically throw out open bottles.
Tickets are $300, with $125 of that being a tax deductible contribution to the journalism organization.
I might take a bottle of wine, too, since I didn’t even get a chance to eat the rubber chicken dinner.
In my hometown, it was not unusual to see old rich ladies wearing their mink coats to the grocery store. All dressed up and no where to go, I guess.
If the bottles were open, they would be thrown out. No reason to blame people for saving some of their expensive dinner.

I disagree. This is ghetto like behavior. In the midst of an emergency. And that big ol’ gal in the blue and white dress along with the broad with the funky faux fur?
Ghetto.
we had a work party once where they bought a crap tonne of beer and wine, when it was time to leave we saw everyone grabbing cases of beer, and I was like ? but the caterers were just handing it out so I loaded up my hatchback with like 20 cases, and was super paranoid driving home cause well, at least I brought 10 cases into work the next day for the people who didn’t make the party.
In her defense it was cold and raining
Because they are entitled?
mebe it’s why nobody reports on blix inner city looters....
I’d be grabbing dinners out of the kitchen, myself.
I can’t imagine an issue with anyone taking especially open bottles.

I agree... much to do about nothing. The event was over, why throw out the wine if one can just take it upstairs if one has a room there and have a glass or two before going out for dinner? It was already paid for....
Don’t waste the wine......
I don’t blame her! There just going to throw it out any ways. She can take it to her room and have a great time!
