Former Vice President Al Gore is still making climate doom predictions, 20 years after his warnings from An Inconvenient Truth proved false — this time invoking the science fiction film The Day After Tomorrow for a rapt Hollywood audience.
Gore joined the first-ever Sustainability in Entertainment Honors event Thursday, organized by The Hollywood Reporter and the Sustainable Entertainment Alliance, for a keynote conversation with The West Wing star Bradley Whitford. The pair reminisced about the Oscar-winning documentary An Inconvenient Truth, conspicuously omitting its failed prophecy that Earth’s ecosystems would reach a “tipping point” of no return, thanks to human industrial activity, in only ten years. That deadline that came and went a full decade ago.

Gore is retarded like biden.
“The mansion-dwelling, private–jetting climate crusader later invoked the disaster film, saying that the calamity it depicts is “a very real threat within the next 25 years.”
Ice ages are a known and predictable consequence of global warming.
Fortunately the remedy for global cooling is precisely the same as the remedy for global warming: complete government control over all economic activity.

Whoa whoa whoa...Ice age? I thought we were going to be fried by the sun. What did I miss?
Of course the retard is right. Also, we could be killed by a giant Meteor or comet striking the earth. Or the zombies could take over in 25 years. All potential I assume. What a prophet he is. He should worry about how long ol’ Al will live at what catastrophe might befall him. It could be natural causes, but that rich lifestyle and the fact that he worries too much could do him in.
I forget the reasoning. Something like the warmer water of the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans and the poles melt sending cold water down and then that stops the circulation and the cold water stacks up and then NYC gets covered by a glacier. Or something.
“this time invoking the science fiction film The Day After Tomorrow for a rapt Hollywood audience.”
Amazing. Gore should be afraid to show his fac after everything he claimed turned out to be BS but nope, there they are the Hollywood idiots eating it up again.
Isn’t there an unfortunate massage therapist he should be desperately chasing around right now??
Tipper Gore flew the coup. She probably got sick of the pothead, right Al?
Al Gore has quite an amazing record. Every prediction he’s made, to my knowledge, about global warming and related topics has been wrong.
Al Gore is 78 years old. He is very unlikely to be alive 25 years from now.
The problem with Gore’s ludicrous Mount Kilimanjaro prediction... The altitude at which the atmospheric air becomes frozen is at approximately 7,500 feet above sea level... Mount Kilimanjaro is 19,340 feet above sea level. There is always going to be snow on Mount Kilimanjaro.
BTW - 7,500 feet is often referred to by pilots as the “freezing level.”... It’s been that level since aviation began... When that level increases to 8 or 9 thousand feet... Then maybe you can worry about global warming... But it hasn’t... It’s been constant throughout the years and will likely remain that way for many thousands of years to come.
Yep, thanks, I completely forgot that global warming will bring on the coming ice age…./s
Oh how we all wish Rush were still with us. He had a fun time tearing apart Algore’s environmental fearmongering!
His track record is so good. /s
