A tanker might cost $100 million. There are about 8 billion people in the world. That tanker would cost about a penny a person.
If Iran was able to sink a tanker each day, it would cost the world economy about a penny a person per day.

There are hundreds of tankers of little value available for Strait transit use. These tankers might proceed to India, which is a short trip away. The oil can be shipped on from India as Russian oil has been.

When liberals take steps to reduce oil consumption, they call it saving the earth.
When Trump takes corrective action against terrorism and oil consumption is also reduced, they call it Global Hunger and a Health Crisis.
