A man shot a Canadian woman dead and injured several others before killing himself on Monday at Mexico's Teotihuacan pyramids, a popular tourist and archaeological site outside of Mexico City, according to authorities.
Mexico's security cabinet said the injured people were receiving medical care. Canada's foreign ministry did not immediately reply to a request for comment.

Not if they couldn’t pay for it.
That Gunman fellow sure gets around.
But nobody’s supposed to have guns in Mexico except the cartels and the police in their pay.
News stories these days say precious little. A “man” shot and killed a Canadian woman in Mexico at a tourist attraction. That’s it. There is so much missing that it’s a wonder that they even bother to mention it. Cartels? Gangs? Robbery? Jealous spouse? Why not wait until we have enough details to form an opinion or justify a stereotype?

Boy, that reuters sure can tell a story
Three Marine friends went south to visit with one of their families and fish...
Heading back to post, a truck crossed the center line, and they awoke in a local hospital.
They all went on sick call; it seems the local doctors closed the wounds and called it good.
One had liver damage and was hospitalized for over a week, another had “stuff” sewn in, and the last had his wounds flushed.
Turd world care.
Guess Canada still is recommending Mexico over the US for safe travels

Ain't nobody got time for that.
For what it’s worth, my buddy was there just last week and thought that place was amazing.
There’s a massive Teotihuacan pyramid there that I’ve climbed. Very impressive. It’s not as steep as some of the Maya pyramids in the South, and not dangerous to climb (unless someone is shooting at you).
