Russia has offered to help China with any potential energy shortfall, as the war in the Middle East heightens geopolitical divisions and threatens global commodity supplies.
“Russia can certainly fill the resource gap that has arisen in China and other countries interested in working with us on an equal and mutually beneficial basis,” Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said Wednesday, according to comments reported by Russian news agency Interfax.
Russia’s top diplomat also commented on China and Russia’s ability to withstand the economic impact of “aggressive” U.S military operations against Iran, which have sent global oil and gas prices soaring.

Maybe China can loan Putin a million troops or so to take care of that little Ukraine problem. Think of it as a gift.
That war is close to over. Russia no longer has the manpower to advance anywhere, and when they do, it’s only for an instance, and the advancing troops will be advancing to their deaths. Russia lost more than 35,000 troops in March along, meaning that, they are losing more troops than they can recruit.
Russia: one step forward, two steps back. They’re losing ggound with each new day. They can’t advance when their advancing troops are just advancing towards a hellish death./
It's amazing to consider that the Russians have now been invading Ukraine (with miserable success) for longer than they fought against the Nazis.
It's also interesting to consider that the Russian War of Aggression has lasted even longer than the American Civil War (though - due to better medicine, and the obvious fact that Russia is fielding only one half of the total number of combatants / Russia represents only one side - Russia has incurred only about half as many battlefield deaths).
