A new poll indicates that voters in Virginia could approve changes to congressional district maps during the April 21 redistricting referendum.
According to a survey conducted by George Mason University in partnership with The Washington Post, a majority of voters say they plan to vote “yes” on the upcoming referendum. The poll also found that more than 60 percent of registered voters in the Commonwealth said they are certain they will participate in the vote.
When asked how they plan to vote, 53 percent of respondents said they support changing the current congressional map, while 44 percent said they plan to vote “no.”
Political analyst Dr. David Richards said the referendum is drawing unusual levels of attention for a special election, which typically sees lower voter turnout.

We need a calculation Nationwide of seat movement as a result of redistricting.
As well as a poll of the 23 districts decided by less than 5% in 2024
I still have faith that the right people will vote on April 21.
Yes...

It’s over, G’damn these media whores!!!!!

See Post 4 on this thread. I don’t think there have been any changes since I posted it.

Gains / Losses
Republican 220 + 17 = 237 - 11 = 226
Democratic* 215 - 17 = 198 + 11 = 209
Total 435
3/12/2026 Update: Total Reps + 2
We still have a month. Our mail box got three “No Vote” flyers today.
Although, none of them were from the VAGOPe.
“We still have a month.”

By my count you have 11 Days ...and, yes, my wife and I both voted “NO” on the referendum 2 weeks ago.
This evil woman in the Governor’s seat in Virginia has that same s**t-eating grin she had during the debate. She knows the fix is in.
You don’t get much more liberal than those sponsoring this poll.
This is not a poll; this is propaganda fabricated from whole cloth to give cover for cheating the vote so they can steal the win for redistricting.
Now they can say it was always supported.
Whenever a VA voter admits that he is a leftist, believe him.
If he says he’s a “moderate,” don’t believe him.
“Faith” is hard to find in VA.
Not saying Va doesn’t have a lot of leftists. Just a lot of data until just this poll was saying the exact opposite, convenient timing for this poll from a wild left set of actors.
Check out the methodology for the poll.
There’s a good reason why they don’t make that info convenient to find.
11 days not a month.
And then they call could be murdered by illegal aliens. Such fun.
TX: GOP maybe +4, or +5 at best. At least that’s the intent.
CA: Rats +4 or +5 MUCH more definite (in 2026) than GOP chances of doing the same in TX.
NC: Maybe GOP +1.
MO: GOP +1 for sure ***IF*** and only if the new map is in place for 2026.
VA: Rats +4 when the new map passes in 11 days.
OH: No substantive change at ALL. If any districts flip (over/under is MAYBE GOP +1 in CD-9) it won’t be because of any new map unless the result is by the slimmest of margins. OH quite possibly going Rat for Governor and Senator (and Democrat enthusiasm to make that happen) isn’t exactly going to help at the House level.
UT: Rats +1 for sure unless the GOP is successful in obstructing the new map.
FL: *claims* to be aiming for GOP +5 if they ever get around to it, if the map passes “judicial muster”, if it isn’t delayed indefinitely by Democrat lawsuits, if it is EVER implemented (much less, implemented for this year), if things work out as intended, if....
Rat states such as NY, MD, WI, MN, CO, NY, IL will apparently be making no changes for 2026; most or all of them will absolutely screw Republicans as hard possible, Virginia-style, by 2028.
That list of Rat states is not necessarily complete (eg, WA, OR, NV, NJ) and others which have only the slightest GOP control (e.g. AZ, PA) may have total Democrat control after 2026 and may join the list.
