Only Prosecutions Can End Dems’ DOJ Weaponization, But Media Pretend That’s Not Obvious
The Federalist ^ | 4/9/26 | Elle Purnell

It used to be understood, before we started rewarding lawbreakers with goodies like birthplace citizenship, that punishing bad guys was the most effective way to stop bad actions. The best way to drop the murder rate, for example, is to swiftly and justly execute murderers.

For the same reason, the best way to end the political weaponization of the bureaucracy is to punish the weaponizers. As long as the architects of the most infamous abuses — from the Russia collusion hoax to the Biden DOJ effort to throw its political opposition in prison — escape accountability, new partisans will be emboldened to abuse their prosecutorial power for political ends.

The role of consequences as deterrent is obvious to any disciplined child. It’s obvious to members of the American public who want to see the likes of James Comey, John Brennan, James Clapper, Merrick Garland, and Jack Smith held accountable for their war on the rule of law. It’s so obvious, in fact, that the corporate press feels compelled to work very hard to pretend that’s not the case.During a DOJ press conference on Tuesday, CNN’s Paula Reid delivered a perfect example of the media’s feigned stupidity on the subject.

[snip]

The media’s definition of “ending weaponization” is having the Trump DOJ do absolutely nothing about the decade of the Obama and Biden DOJ’s partisan lawfare, until Democrats can take over and start doing it again. The one thing they don’t want the Trump DOJ to do is actually take the steps required to hold the serial weaponizers accountable. When the media talk about “ending weaponization,” they mean the exact opposite.

Thank you very much and God bless you.

Those that orchestrated the Russian Collusion conspiracy, the spying on Trump and associates, the J6 prosecution, the Mar a Lago raid, etc must pay a price for their crimes. There has to be arrests or this nation will not survive.

Many will say courts will stop them, but activist judges will do as they wish since they have no respect or loyalty to the Constitution and no one will attempt to stop them.

If action is not taken during Trump's presidency, not only will the left do the same again, but what they do will be ten times worse. People laugh at the Georgia Democrat candidate who says conservatives' punishment for electing Trump will be four years without internet access, but she is deadly serious. Not only will the try to do that, they will have no problem in locking up Trump, his family, and his cabinet members, and they will relish putting his supporters in re-education camps.

More from the article:

“It’s the same playbook they use to guilt Republicans into being useless on deportations. Democrats can blow up our immigration laws all they want, but if Trump tries to fix it, he’s not allowed, because norms. The only approach acceptable to the media is that he do nothing until Democrats can take control.

Blanche seems to understand the ruse. “When you talk about weaponization … [you] talk about ending weaponization as if that’s a bad thing for us to do,” he responded to Reid. He’s right: the media, who played a supporting role in the weaponization of state power to target Trump via the Russia collusion hoax and later lawfare campaigns, don’t want actual accountability for weaponization because they were in on the operation.

“For four years, some of you same people sat here with the last administration when you saw a weaponization of this department the likes of which had never been seen in history,” Blanche continued, reminding a squirming press pool of the Biden DOJ’s numerous attempts to throw Biden’s presidential opponent in prison — an effort which included spying on a handful of Republicans senators and hundreds of conservative organizations.”

The problem with your case is there are no relevant criminal statutes for anything the DOJ did during the investigation. There may well have been constitutional violations, but those have to be invoked in a case or controversy the Supreme Court will hear.

I don’t think anyone is going to put us in a concentration camp, but I’m pretty sure there will be more investigations into Trump after he leaves office.

B.S.! There certainly is!

Federal prosecutors who invent evidence or falsify documents can be prosecuted under several federal statutes, most notably 18 U.S.C. § 1001 (false statements/documents) and 18 U.S.C. § 1519 (destruction/falsification of records in federal investigations).

18 U.S.C. § 1512 (Tampering with Evidence/Witnesses): Prohibits corruptly persuading another person to destroy evidence or influencing testimony, which applies to prosecutors trying to influence witness statements.

18 U.S.C. § 1519 (Destruction, Alteration, or Falsification of Records): Targets individuals who knowingly alter, destroy, or falsify documents, records, or tangible objects with the intent to impede or influence a federal investigation or administrative matter. Violations can lead to fines and up to 20 years in prison.

If these criminals are not held to account, we will never have an honest election again.

If Democrats are who caused the problems then this nation cannot move forwarward until the guilty are punished. From where I stand, the guilty stick out like sore thumbs. If we are to be a nation of laws, then the laws must be enforced or they are meaningless. I don’t understand why our Constitution is not respected.

Ok, have it your way. Making claims isn’t the same as producing actual evidence. The only evidence we’ve ever seen was the altered email by that idiot DOJ lawyer for a national security wiretap. That’s it.

Where’s the evidence to support the other claims?

Don’t expect Todd Blanche to take on the Deep State. He was shutting investigations down.

There won’t be any prosecutions. Keystone Kash is too busy covering for elitist pedophiles and the DOJ has proven to be useless.
