The Trump administration on Monday terminated a civil rights settlement with Sacramento City Unified School District aimed at ensuring a transgender student’s right to equal opportunity to education. The terminations of six agreements with educational institutions across the country are an escalation of President Donald Trump’s efforts to enforce an executive order that the government recognize only a person’s sex assigned at birth, according to the New York Times

The district is also rolling out all gender restroom access on all of its campuses to be completed by July 1, complying with a new state law.

All I hear from my local California school district is that they have no money and are having to layoff staff and close schools. But they have enough money for all gender bathrooms.

Ditto for my local school district which has hemorrhaged kids b/c of high housing costs, high taxes and Gov. Newsom.

The school district is insisting on keeping 1/2 full schools open, no consolidation - and demanding raises for staff, with threats of a strike starting on the 14th.

And yes, they won’t admit that enrollment is cratering and reading and writing test scores are abysmal - but insist on brainwashing students into being anti-ICE activists, even encouraging walk-outs during instruction time.

Apparently, the agreements were part of a “Be Sued and Settle” scheme by the Biden regime.

This is just another example about how an administration in power attempts to bind their successor behavior without actually passing new laws or caring about existing ones.
