Four 17-year-old men are facing first-degree felony charges after allegedly kidnapping and torturing a classmate in an attack planned a week in advance.
The suspects - identified as Jose Rojas-Alvarado, Oscar Armando Santiago-Martinez, Angel Lemus-Perez, and Carlos Roberto Oliva-Villeda - have each been charged with aggravated kidnapping with a deadly weapon. Lemus-Perez faces an additional charge of engaging in organized criminal activity.
The Incident According to arrest affidavits, the attack occurred on February 19, 2026. The victim left Del Valle High School with three of the suspects under the impression they were going to get pizza. After a brief stop at a gas station, the suspects drove the victim to a home on FM 969, where a fourth suspect was waiting in a detached garage.
Once inside the garage, the situation turned violent:
Restraint: The suspects used duct tape to bind the victim’s hands and feet and cover his mouth.
Assault: One suspect held a gun to the victim's head while the others beat him with aluminum bats, a walking cane, and a belt.
Torture: The victim reported being burned, forced to drink alcohol, and repeatedly threatened with death.
Recording: Investigators state the assault was recorded by one of the suspects.
Motive and Evidence The victim told investigators the attack was sparked by a dispute involving a girl—specifically, that he had been speaking to one of the suspect’s girlfriends. The suspects allegedly warned the victim that if he contacted the police, they would harm both him and his family.
After being dropped off at a separate location, the victim reported the incident. Authorities documented extensive bruising and contusions across the victim's chest, back, and legs. During interviews, some of the suspects reportedly admitted to the assault, stating they had planned the attack roughly a week earlier.
Community Impact Del Valle ISD confirmed that the four suspects are no longer enrolled in the district. In a statement, the school district emphasized that the incident occurred off-campus and is being actively investigated by the Travis County Sheriff's Office.
The news has left the student body shaken. "I thought it was insane," said student J'Kaideon Mitchell. "We never have anything super crazy like that."
If convicted, the four teens face a prison sentence ranging from five to 99 years.

Hopefully deported once justice has been served.

Austin, Texas.
All b/c the victim ‘had been speaking to’ one of the suspect’s girlfriends.
If you need to kidnap, strap down and beat up somebody to keep a girl’s attention, you must be afraid she doesn’t want you, and you’re probably right. A smart girl knows desperation when she sees it up close.
That horror over some trashy female.
C’mon, boys will be boys. Who here never kidnapped and tortured a rival when they were teenagers? s/
Committing the crimes Americans refuse to do.
All we did is nod knowingly whenever “Runaround Sue” came on the radio.
Deported?
Rope. Tree. Some assembly required.
If you deport them, they just come back. Especially when we get the next Democrat president and Congress.

Come home to El Salvador, we’ll leave the light on for you.
SE Austin area, by the airport.
No surprise as far as location goes.
Bummer that they weren’t first deported.
